The Wabasso Area Early Childhood Initiative (ECI) Coalition is a group of people from our communities that have young children or an interest in helping families with young children. In partnership with the Southwest Initiative Foundation, we have received a grant to make changes in services and opportunities locally for our youngest citizens. The Wabasso Area Early Childhood Initiative recognizes that learning begins at birth. We commit to working together to provide support, education, and opportunities to parents and families so that all children, birth to 5 years, learn and thrive in the communities of Lucan, Seaforth, Vesta, Wabasso, and Wanda.
We recognize the important role that you, our area family child care providers, play in providing support, education, and opportunities for many of our area's youngest citizens. We would like to further strengthen our partnership with you and offer you support in this important role by offering up to 10 mini-grants, up to $100 each, to licensed family child care providers residing in the
In order to qualify for a mini-grant:
· The application must be filled out entirely and sent to Dawn Guetter P.O. Box 69 Wabasso MN 56293
· The item for purchase must be educational in nature and an explanation given.
· A picture of the item(s) or a copy of the order must be attached.
· A copy of conference/workshop registration or brochure.
